Online Psychological Therapy.

Understanding the bigger picture. Finding a way forward.

Sometimes we know exactly what's troubling us. Other times, it's harder to identify why things feel the way they do.

The Long Version offers online psychological therapy for adults across Australia. It's an opportunity to explore what's happening, understand the patterns that may be contributing and develop practical ways of responding.

Therapy is collaborative, tailored to the individual and grounded in evidence-based psychological practice.

What can therapy help with?

People come to therapy with different experiences, concerns and goals. You don't need to know exactly what you're experiencing or have a diagnosis before reaching out.

Areas I commonly work with include:

Anxiety, worry and panic

Including persistent worry, panic attacks, health anxiety, social anxiety and difficulties managing uncertainty.

OCD and intrusive thoughts

Support for obsessive-compulsive difficulties, including intrusive thoughts, compulsions, checking, reassurance seeking and avoidance.

Depression and low mood

Including persistent sadness, reduced motivation, loss of interest and difficulties engaging with everyday life.

Stress and burnout

Navigating ongoing demands, workplace pressures, overwhelm and difficulties with boundaries.

Life transitions and adjustment

Support through change, grief, loss, significant life events and periods of uncertainty.

Relationships and recurring patterns

Exploring relationship difficulties, attachment experiences, emotional responses and patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing.

My approach

My approach

I don't believe there's a single way to understand a person, or a single therapeutic approach that works for everyone.

Our thoughts, emotions and behaviours are influenced by our experiences, relationships and circumstances. Understanding these connections can be valuable, but therapy is also about what we do with that understanding.

My work draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside other therapeutic approaches suited to your individual needs.

Depending on what brings you to therapy, our work might involve exploring recurring patterns, developing practical skills, approaching difficult experiences differently or working towards specific goals.

The process is collaborative, with an emphasis on helping you develop the understanding and skills to navigate life beyond therapy.
